Monday February 4th: Join Us for the Interfaith Call-in to Prevent Gun Violence

On Monday, February 4th people of faith and people of conscience from all over the country are participating in an Interfaith Call-in to Prevent Gun Violence. Follow the easy steps below or go to www.faithscalling.org. Lend your voice to the many grieving in Mexico and the U.S. due to gun violence by calling your Senator and insist that they act to prevent gun violence on both sides of the border!

Just follow this simple three-step process to make your call:

Step 1- Click here to find your Senator’s phone number.

Step 2- Once connected; ask to speak to the aide that works on gun policy. Keep your message simple by saying,

“My name is ____. I am a constituent calling to urge Representative/Senator____ to take a stand to prevent gun violence by
•    Requiring universal background checks for all gun purchases
•    Ban semi-automatic assault weapons and high-capacity magazines
•    Make gun trafficking a federal crime
•    And, improve access to mental health services
These gun violence prevention laws work and will transform grief into action for communities on both sides of the border.”

Step 3- After you’ve made the call, tell us how it went!
•    Through this website
•    Tweet @LAWGaction
•     Write on our Latin America Working Group Facebook Page
