The Center
for Global Education at Augsburg College offers undergraduate
semester and short-term educational programs to Mexico, Central America,
and Cuba. Programs meet with a variety of people, but particularly those
on the grassroots level, to discuss current economic, political, and social
realities.
The
Cuban American
Alliance Education Fund, Inc. (CAAEF) is a national network
of Cuban Americans that educates the public at large on issues related
to hardships caused by current U.S.-Cuba relations. The Alliance is a
vehicle for the development of mutually beneficial engagements which promote
understanding and human compassion.
Global Exchange
is an international human rights organization dedicated to promoting environmental,
political and social justice. Since our founding in 1988, we have increased
the US public's global awareness while building partnerships worldwide.
The National
Security Archive is a non-governmental research institute
and library located at The George Washington University, the National
Security Archive collects and publishes declassified documents obtained
through the U.S. Freedom of Information Act
The North American Congress
on Latin America, NACLA, provides policy makers, analysts,
academics, organizers, journalists and religious and community groups
with information on major trends in Latin America and its relations with
the United States.
STITCH
is a network of women unionists, organizers, and activists that builds
connections between Central American and US women organizing for economic
justice. STITCH seeks to create a world where women workers are able to
improve their lives through organizing and exercising their rights.
Witness for Peace
supports peace, justice and sustainable economies in the Americas by working
to change US policies and corporate practices in Latin America and the
Caribbean. Our strategies include transformational travel, personal witness,
popular education, and grassroots activism.
