hungry people by lobbying our nation's decision makers. The Bread for
the World Institute seeks justice for hungry people by engaging in research
and education on policies related to hunger and development.
Catholic
Relief Services is the official international relief
and development agency of the U.S. Catholic community, CRS is also committed
to educating the people of the United States to fulfill their moral responsibilities
toward our global brothers and sisters by helping the poor, working to
remove the causes of poverty, and promoting social justice.
The
Cuban American
Alliance Education Fund, Inc. (CAAEF) is a national network
of Cuban Americans that educates the public at large on issues related
to hardships caused by current U.S.-Cuba relations. The Alliance is a
vehicle for the development of mutually beneficial engagements which promote
understanding and human compassion.

Disarm Education Fund promotes peace and
social justice through political and social advocacy, while delivering
life-saving medicine, medical supplies and medical delegations to Cuba

under the auspices of the Society of Jesus, Jesuit
Refugee Services has emerged as a major international project
of the of the Jesuit social apostolate. JRS programs include pastoral
care, education, health care and vocational training. In addition to these
direct services, JRS personnel advocate for refugees and the internally
displaced before national and international governing bodies
Lutheran World Relief
works with partners in 50 countries to help people grow food,
improve health, strengthen communities, end conflict, build livelihoods
and recover from disasters.
The
Mennonite Central Committee U.S. Washington
Office is a Mennonite and Brethren in Christ presence on Capitol Hill
providing and encouraging prophetic witness to the way of Christ on mattes
of U.S. public policy.
Oxfam America is
dedicated to finding long-term solutions to poverty, hunger, and social
injustice around the world. We work to eliminate the root causes of social
and economic inequities by challenging the structural barriers that foster
conflict and human suffering and limit people from gaining the skills,
resources, and power to become self-sufficient.
Peace Brigades International
supports efforts for justice and human rights through nonviolent
action, fielding teams of unarmed international observers to offer protective
accompaniment of threatened activists in conflict areas including Colombia,
Guatemala, Indonesia, and Mexico.
Project
Counselling Service has worked for the past twenty years
in the continuum from conflict to post-conflict in Latin America, promoting
and defending human rights and developing the capacities of local actors,
particularly women, to play a lead role in their country's social and
political processes of building peace, justice and democracy.
Quixote Center/Quest
for Peace is a faith-based social justice organization working
in partnership with the Institute of John XXIII in Nicaragua to develop
community based development initiatives, while also working to change
those U.S. foreign policies that contribute to poverty in Latin America.
Rights Action
raises funds for community development, human rights & emergency relief
projects in Southern Mexico, Central America & Peru. We educate in
North America about global development and human rights issues, and work
to form north-south alliances of people and organizations working together
to remedy endemic impoverishment, repression and racism.
SHARE
supports historically impoverished and marginalized communities in El
Salvador as they construct long-term, sustainable solutions to poverty
and injustice through advocacy, rural development projects and physical
and moral accompaniment.
Voices on the Border
promotes sustainable and equitable human development in El Salvador
through long-term community based partnerships, grassroots organizing
and accompaniment.
