With your help, 65 members of Congress signed the letter to Secretary of State Kerry and Special Envoy Aronson in support of the Colombian peace process. In just 3 days, our network of grassroots activists sent almost 300 emails and made countless phone calls urging these representatives to support a lasting peace in Colombia.

These representatives not only support the ongoing peace process, but also agree that the negotiations must be inclusive, center on the needs of victims, and focus on breaking Colombia’s history of impunity.

The final letter with signatures is available in English here, or in Spanish here.

And support for the Colombian peace process continues to grow! The Congressional Hispanic Caucus has also sent a statement of support to President Juan Manuel Santos, emphasizing that “these peace talks represent a crucial opportunity to finally bring the most enduring conflict in our hemisphere to a just conclusion.”

Thank you for your crucial support for a just and lasting peace in Colombia!
