We need to make sure it’s a clean Dream Act. Humans aren’t a commodity you can trade. Yet some policymakers want to use Dreamers as a bargaining chip. We need Congress to pass the Dream Act—without trading its passage for ramped up border security and deportation force. The future of 800,000 classmates, coworkers, and neighbors is not a trade-off.
