The undersigned organizations condemn the criminal car bombing in Colombia’s capital city on August 13th, which injured nine people.  The attack took place in central Bogotá near the offices of Caracol Radio network, less than a week after the inauguration of a new president.  We encourage the authorities to carry out a prompt, rigorous investigation.  We join the citizens of Bogotá in resoundingly condemning such actions, brutally aimed at civilians who are peaceably conducting their daily lives.
