respect for immigrants. Days later, on Tuesday, October 8th, tens of thousands will deliver this message directly to Congress with a rally and concert featuring Los Tigres del Norte on Washington D.C.’s National Mall before marching to Congress to send a message — Get Immigration Reform Done; and Get it Done Now.

On Saturday, October 5th, a broad movement, bringing together immigrant communities with faith, labor, and civil rights groups, will join together in over 40 cities across the United States. This diverse movement will be unified in its calls for Congress to pass immigration reform with a path to citizenship, which promotes family unity, protects worker rights, stops deportations, and halts massive wasteful spending on unneeded border militarization. The more of us who attend these events, the louder our voice will be heard throughout the halls of Congress.
