Cuba a terrorist state?? Not on your life. We all know that, but we have been waiting for President Obama to show he does too. 
Well, today, April 14, 2015, our long wait is over! President Obama submitted a report notifying Congress of his intention to remove Cuba from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list. This report to Congress is required 45 days prior to the country’s actual removal. It justifies the removal and certifies that the Cuban government “has not provided any support for international terrorism during the preceding six months, and has provided assurances that it will not support such acts in the future.”
Thank President Obama for taking action at last to remove Cuba from the terrorist list!

The list has long been driven by politics, not facts; and factual findings don’t warrant Cuba’s inclusion on the list. Domestic political consideration should not drive our foreign policy, and we are grateful for your actions toward restoring diplomatic relations with Cuba. [Sign your name].
The President’s action is a huge step in the right direction, but more remains to be done. We will keep you updated on further action you can take to urge Congress to finish the job of fully normalizing U.S. relations with Cuba. Only Congress can definitively end the embargo. They should do it now.
